“Brainstorming” become part of a joke in Europe; there is no problem with discussing ideas but you need a lot more than that to solve problems, you need to research, ask, study, on your own and be careful with the people you chose to “brainstorm with”, otherwise you will have a bunch of ideas that are completely useless.
Creativity in problem solving comes from experience and hard work, it is not the child of “creative minds” brainstorming together.
