Will there be a software solution to translation in 50 years?

 

 

 

I am a technical translator – I need 20% excellent language skills and 80% technical knowledge it does not come in dictionaries, it is the result of over 20 years professional experience and translating. There is no machine than can pick that “innuendo” that comes from cultural diversity, that piece of technical knowledge that tells you that word A is not wrong, but word B is more correct.

 

 

 

I translate medical, pharmaceutical and law; my translation is the difference between a new medicine or medical device get a marketing authorization or not and when I am translating all the money has already been invested.
